Italian entrepreneur Asmaa Gacem, who is of Moroccan origin, has acquired 100% of the shares of AC Prato, previously held by Humanativa Group. The sale, finalized on July 14, was made through Finres S.p.A., a Florence-based financial holding company owned by Gacem, who is active in sectors ranging from tourism to construction. Valued at over €800,000, the deal allows the new owners to take on all of the football club's debts and cover unpaid salaries for players and technical staff, both key conditions for the team's registration in the upcoming Serie D season. According to Il Tirreno, the agreement was signed in the presence of Stefano Commini and Debora Stagliano, president and vice-president of Humanativa Group, respectively, as well as Asmaa Gacem, CEO of Finres, and her husband, lawyer Antonio Politano. Gacem also serves as national vice-president of the CNA (National Confederation of Craftsmanship and Small and Medium Enterprises) for tourism and commerce, Italy's largest association representing SMEs in production and services. She is the sole administrator of Fastpol Srl, which operates the Vespucci 50 hotel in Florence. In addition to her activities in tourism and hospitality, Gacem is active in the social and healthcare sector through the group Le Residenze del Benessere. She also works in construction, heading a group that employs nearly 100 people and holds real estate assets worth tens of millions of euros.
