The Winners 2005 ultras group, one of Wydad Athletic Club's most famous supporters, marked their 20th anniversary on Wednesday night, November 12, with a spectacular fireworks display stretching from Casablanca Port to the Anfa Lighthouse. The event followed similar celebrations the group organized earlier in Paris and New York. Soon after, several social media users alleged that the Paris and New York displays had been digitally fabricated using artificial intelligence. However, numerous live videos from the Casablanca celebrations clearly confirmed the authenticity of the scenes. These claims surfaced after comments by the head of the French police union, who suggested some videos may have been altered to appear more impressive. French authorities have since opened an official investigation into the Paris celebrations after drone footage, reportedly taken in a restricted zone near the Ministry of the Armed Forces, circulated online. Investigators are working to verify whether the images were genuine or digitally manipulated.
