Prague hosted the Moroccan Cultural Heritage Days on May 17-18, featuring the internationally renowned fashion designer Samira Haddouchi's traditional caftan collection. The event, organized by Morocco's Embassy in Prague and the Joussour Association for Arts and Creation, took place at the historic Troja Palace. Haddouchi presented her designs during the opening ceremony, demonstrating how Moroccan fashion fuses ancestral craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. The audience included former Czech presidents and prime ministers, among other diplomatic figures. «Our vision is to foster a dialogue between Moroccan cultural heritage and current fashion trends, offering creations that speak to all generations», Haddouchi stated. She emphasized making the caftan timeless while reflecting modern vibrancy. The comprehensive program featured artistic performances, handicraft exhibitions, and culinary presentations, attracting nearly 300 political, diplomatic, and cultural figures. The celebration continued in Prague's main squares until May 18. Haddouchi, born in Tangier and trained at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, has showcased her work at Fashion Weeks in Paris, Milan, London, Dubai, and other international venues. Her creations have been worn by stars including Whitney Houston and Majda Roumi.
