Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, is currently leading the poll conducted by the French newspaper L'Equipe to select the winner of the 2025 Ballon d'Or in the men's category, ahead of his PSG teammate Ousmane Dembélé. At the time of writing, Hakimi tops the rankings with 30.1% of the votes, followed by Dembélé with 19.9%, while Barcelona star Lamine Yamal sits in third place with 4.8%. In the Kopa Trophy category for the world's best young player, Moroccan-origin midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi of French club Lille is in third place with 8.4% of the votes. Lamine Yamal leads with 23.9%, followed by PSG's Désiré Doué with 20.3%. For the Yachine Trophy, awarded to the world's best goalkeeper, Moroccan national team keeper Yassine Bounou leads with 27.7% of the votes, ahead of PSG's Gianluigi Donnarumma (23.4%) and Lucas Chevalier (3.0%). It should be noted that this poll is purely symbolic and is not part of the official evaluation process used by France Football magazine to determine the Ballon d'Or winner.
