Speaking at the 8th session of the Morocco–Russia Intergovernmental Joint Commission held Friday in Moscow, Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita described the meeting as an opportunity to expand bilateral cooperation «to broader horizons». Co-chaired with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, the session aimed to produce «concrete results» reflecting the ambitions of King Mohammed VI and President Vladimir Putin. Bourita highlighted the steady growth of Morocco–Russia relations since the King's historic 2016 visit to Moscow, noting advances in trade, investment, tourism, energy, and education. The meeting also coincided with the 10th anniversary of the Deepened Strategic Partnership between the two countries, which Bourita said underscores the mutual trust and respect uniting Rabat and Moscow.
