DR ‹ › The Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports has announced the postponement of local unified exams and continuous assessment tests in primary and lower secondary schools for the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. The move is intended to ensure appropriate conditions for students to sit their assessments. The ministry said the decision was prompted by a scheduling overlap with the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 final, set for January 18, 2026, in which the Moroccan national team will compete. The match is expected to attract widespread interest among students, families, and the general public. As a result, the exams have been rescheduled to January 20 and 21, 2026. The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to protecting students' interests, while striking a balance between academic requirements and major national events.
