Tourist arrivals in Morocco reached 5.7 million in the first four months of this year, representing a 23% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy. «Morocco is experiencing exceptional performance with 5.7 million tourists by the end of April 2025 (+23% compared to 2024), meaning an additional one million tourists in just the first four months of 2025. These outstanding figures naturally position Morocco among the most dynamic tourist destinations in the world», stated the ministry in a press release. April alone saw 1.7 million arrivals, a 27% increase from the same month in 2024, demonstrating an appeal that now transcends traditional peak seasons. Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor emphasized, «An additional million visitors at the beginning of a year that is usually quieter is a strong signal for the rest of 2025».
