On Saturday, the Consulate General of Morocco in Madrid opened its doors to Moroccans residing in the consular district, hosting a special open house event. This initiative aligns with a broader strategy to enhance proximity and improve consular services for Moroccans living abroad, adhering to royal directives and the strategic vision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad. The event aimed to bridge the gap between the administration and the Moroccan community by introducing new procedures and adapting to seasonal demands. Throughout the day, approximately 350 consular services were delivered to Moroccans in Madrid and its surrounding areas, catering to those who, due to professional or geographical constraints, are unable to visit the Consulate during the week. Moreover, attendees received personalized assistance on administrative, social, and legal issues. Beneficiaries of this initiative shared their satisfaction with the services provided, as reported to MAP. The consulate intends to regularly organize similar events and mobile consulates to ensure that members of the Moroccan community can easily access essential administrative and consular documents.
