DR ‹ › Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, held talks on Monday afternoon in Rabat with Indonesia's Ambassador to Morocco, Yuyu Sutisna. Discussions focused on several issues of mutual interest, including the implementation of bilateral cooperation agreements and the development of a joint memorandum of understanding. According to a joint statement by the DGSN and DGST, this document will serve as a reference framework for strengthening security cooperation between the two countries. These exchanges form part of ongoing efforts to enhance the DGSN-DGST hub's engagement with international and regional partners. They also reflect a shared ambition to expand and diversify security partnerships, while promoting Moroccan expertise with the security services of friendly countries. Morocco and Indonesia had previously signed a memorandum of understanding on December 22, 2023, in Rabat, aimed at establishing a strategic partnership covering security, parliamentary, and regional cooperation, as well as coordination within international organizations.
