Chinese manufacturer Ningbo Boway Alloy Material Co. Ltd plans to invest $150 million (1.5 billion Moroccan dirhams) in a new production base in Morocco. The future plant, to be built in Nador, will produce up to 30,000 tonnes per year of special alloy strips used in batteries, transformers, cable shielding, and heating resistors, serving primarily the American and European markets. Spanning 188,000 m², the project will be operated by Boway Alloy New Materials (Morocco), with construction starting October 2026 and completion expected in 2029. According to media reports, the new site will help reduce delivery times for Fortune 500 clients and secure global supply chains. Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Ningbo, Zhejiang, Boway Group already operates nine specialized production sites across China, Germany, Canada, and Vietnam.
