DR ‹ › The local development company Tangier Mobility has launched a dedicated website to help fans access the Grand Stade de Tanger during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, providing practical information on how to reach the venue depending on the chosen mode of transport. The website (https://acces-stade.tanja-mobilite.ma), available in Arabic, French, and English, is designed to inform supporters about access conditions to the Grand Stade de Tanger on matchdays. The stadium is set to host six AFCON matches, scheduled between December 23, 2025, and January 14, 2026. According to a statement from the company, the platform features a clear and user-friendly interface offering practical information on available parking facilities, including parking areas located near the stadium, as well as parking zones in the city center connected to the stadium by free shuttle buses. The website also provides details on dedicated transport services available on matchdays for ticket-holding fans. Free round-trip shuttle buses will connect Tangier City railway station, Tangier City Port, and the Grand Stade de Tanger, as well as several city-center parking areas, namely Rabat Road parking, the Corniche, and Arab League Square (Riad Tétouan), to the stadium. The first shuttle services will begin operating four hours before kick-off. For motorists, the platform outlines traffic diversions and suggests alternative routes for road users not heading to the stadium. These temporary measures, coordinated with the relevant authorities, aim to reduce traffic congestion and ease urban mobility during peak periods. The «stadium access» initiative is part of Tangier Mobility's broader strategy to improve the fan experience and support the efficient management of transport flows during major sporting events hosted by the city of Tangier.
