DR ‹ › Morocco dominated the final categories of the CAF Women's Awards 2025, held on Thursday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé, on the sidelines of the draw ceremony for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations 2026, which will be hosted by Morocco. The awards for Women's Coach of the Year, Women's Interclub Player of the Year, and Women's Club of the Year had been postponed to allow for the conclusion of the Women's African Champions League 2025 in Egypt. AS FAR forward Sanaa Mssoudy was named African Women's Interclub Player of the Year, finishing ahead of Ami Diallo of ASEC Mimosas and her teammate Doha El Madani. In the Women's Club of the Year category, AS FAR claimed the honor after securing their second continental title in the Women's African Champions League, defeating ASEC Mimosas 2–1 in the final. The Women's Coach of the Year award went to Moroccan coach Lamia Boumehdi, currently with TP Mazembe. She was shortlisted alongside Jorge Vilda, head coach of the Moroccan women's national team, and Justin Madugu, head coach of Nigeria's women's national team.
