DR ‹ › The media-driven mobilization against Morocco, led by Algerian figures, has reached unprecedented levels, particularly during the Africa Cup of Nations hosted by the Kingdom. This campaign has increasingly spilled over onto social media, where some Algerian influencers have amplified it with even greater intensity. In a video that has circulated widely online, a TikTok influencer known as «Mostefa_alger», who has more than 74,000 followers, openly calls for violence against Moroccans living in Algeria, using explicit and alarming language. Addressing Algerians directly, he urges them to «take revenge with iron», adding: «If you hit ten, fifteen, or twenty [Moroccans], they will all flee. The state is with you. You are in your country, and the Algerian state will stand by you whether you are right or wrong. You are on your land». He goes further in his incendiary remarks, calling for indiscriminate attacks and explicitly rejecting any distinction between civilians, saying: «Even if it's a woman or an old person, it doesn't matter. What matters is that they are Moroccan. Do you understand?» Despite the clear and dangerous nature of this incitement to violence, the influencer continues to publish content on TikTok without any apparent intervention by Algerian authorities. His videos consistently revolve around extreme hostility toward Morocco, raising serious concerns about the normalization of hate speech and calls for violence on social media platforms.
