Only through armed struggle can we achieve our freedom», declared Mustapha Salma, as reported by a Sahrawi media outlet. This perspective echoes the sentiments of Bachir Mustapha Sayed. The late Mustapha Ali Sid El Bachir, former «Minister of Occupied Territories», who passed away earlier this year, similarly called for ramping up the «war», even advocating for terrorist acts against foreign entities in the Sahara. It's worth noting that the Polisario declared «war» on the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) on November 13, 2020, yet has not regained any territory in the Sahara.
