The victim's cries caught the attention of police officers patrolling the area, prompting a chase that ended with the suspect's arrest within minutes after he abandoned the chain, which was recovered and returned to its owner. Security sources reported that the individual in question has a criminal record involving theft and crimes against property. The son of the Colombian president, who resides in Spain, was unharmed and declined medical assistance before filing an official complaint at the police station.
