DR ‹ › Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, has granted exceptional posthumous promotions to the rank of brigadier to the four police officers who died in a tragic road accident near Sidi Ifni. The decision includes administrative and financial benefits for their beneficiaries. According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), severely injured officers will also receive exceptional step promotions in line with the institution's statutes. Additionally, two widows of the deceased officers, who meet the required criteria, will be directly integrated into the National Security ranks. The victims' families, who have already received moral and material support, will also benefit from dedicated social programs for widows and orphans of police officers. The measures complement earlier decisions taken immediately after the accident, including full medical coverage for the injured and direct support for the bereaved families. The DGSN said these steps reflect its commitment to ensuring sustained social, financial, and moral support for members of the police force and their families in all circumstances.
