The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has announced a reorganization of its structure, creating three strategic divisions focused on Commerce, Marketing, and Resources and Support. This restructuring is part of an ongoing modernization effort aimed at enhancing the Office's efficiency in promoting national tourism development and strengthening Morocco's appeal as an international destination, according to a press release from ONMT. As part of the reorganization, three directors have been appointed to lead the new divisions: Rachid Hamzaoui for Resources and Support, Hicham Bellaziz for Commerce, and Salima Mghzli for Marketing. «To improve efficiency, this new structure aims to strengthen our actions and better meet the expectations of the global tourism market», said Achraf Fayda, the Director General of ONMT. The reorganization reflects a clear intention to streamline processes, clarify roles, and foster greater synergy between departments. It seeks to address the challenges of a rapidly evolving sector while leveraging the expertise of the ONMT's talent pool. The ONMT aims to increase its agility, enhance its management capabilities, and better support regional tourism development by placing human resources and internal expertise at the heart of its strategy.
