As part of the ongoing cooperation between the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO), Army Corps General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the FAR and Commander of the Southern Zone, met with Major General Fakhrul Ahsan, Commander of the MINURSO Force, this Thursday in Agadir. The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Southern Zone General Staff, was also attended by Colonel Alexander Kask, Chief of Staff of the UN mission's Force, according to MAP. In a statement, the FAR reported that discussions focused on MINURSO's activities in the southern provinces. Both leaders praised the «exceptional» quality of cooperation between the two parties, particularly in operational coordination, security, demining, and logistical support.
