The Regional Investment Center of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab announced on June 20, 2025, a partnership with the consulting firm Forvis Mazars to implement an economic intelligence and territorial intelligence strategy. The center will establish a system for economic monitoring in the region. A forum is scheduled for June 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Southern Atlantic Maritime Fishing Chamber meeting hall in Dakhla. Regional stakeholders will attend training sessions and exchange practices. Forvis Mazars will provide 11 months of support in three areas: diagnosing current vigilance practices, designing the economic intelligence system, and producing strategic analyses with skills transfer through training programs. The project relates to Morocco's New Development Model and territorial public work transparency. The strategy supports the Dakhla Atlantic Port and Tiznit-Dakhla highway projects. The center's mission includes stimulating regional economic activity, promoting territorial investment offerings, and ensuring regional economic vigilance. The partnership aims to provide decision-making tools for public officials and investors based on reliable and updated data.
