A 39-year-old Moroccan man died in Bergamo, Italy, after ingesting cocaine to evade a police checkpoint, local media reported on Tuesday. The man, originally from Avellino, had traveled to the Bergamo area to buy a car and a scooter. He reportedly swallowed a couple of cocaine pellets when stopped by police and later fell ill near the Brembo River.
