Royal Air Maroc inaugurated on Wednesday, September 17, its new direct flight connecting Casablanca to N'Djamena, the capital of Chad. The inaugural flight departed Mohammed V Airport at 11:40 p.m. and landed at N'Djamena International Airport at 5:05 a.m. local time. Operated twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the service expands the airline's African network to 29 direct routes. «Each new route strengthens Casablanca's position as a major global hub and confirms our leadership in African air transport. We are proud to offer our customers an ever-expanding, high-performing network and a customer experience of the highest standards», said Hamid Addou, Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc. The new route responds to strong demand from customers in Chad, particularly for onward connections to Europe and the Americas. It also marks a key step in the airline's continental strategy, aimed at intensifying intra-African connectivity while extending beyond its traditional West African axis to serve Central and Eastern Africa. Royal Air Maroc emphasized that its accelerated fleet modernization, with the introduction of new, more efficient aircraft, will primarily benefit African routes, ensuring greater comfort, safety, and reliability. The company reaffirmed its ambition to meet the expectations of a diverse clientele and to strengthen Morocco's appeal as both a leading destination and a global air travel hub.
