The Kéchoise returns for its 5th edition, bursting with energy and color, from October 2–5, 2025 in Marrakech. Four days celebrating sport, solidarity, and women's boldness, with the highlight on Sunday, October 5: a 7 km course through the Red City's landmarks, from the Koutoubia to the Agdal Gardens, finishing in style at Place des Ferblantiers. From October 2, the Partner Village opens at Koutoubia Square with activities, association stands, and a free mobile breast-cancer screening unit. On October 3, a launch evening and dinner-show at La Bohème in the Agafay Desert sets the tone: friendly, inclusive, and resolutely supportive. Created for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Kéchoise raises awareness of breast cancer while promoting women's health and empowerment. Open to all, regardless of age or athletic ability, the event welcomed 500 participants from more than 10 nationalities and nearly 5,000 visitors last year. This edition draws on the expertise of Carrera de la Mujer (Spain) and the insights of former Olympian José Luis Blanco Quevedo. Singer Manal Benchlikha serves as the 2025 patron, with the Association du Grand Atlas providing logistical and community support. Founded by French-Moroccan Khalid Zoubaa, a former elite athlete, the Kéchoise is more than a race: it's an international showcase for Marrakech, blending sport, culture, and commitment.
