The ruling coalition's leadership met on Tuesday, September 30, and issued a communiqué affirming that, after reviewing recent developments linked to youth mobilization in both digital and public spaces, the government «is listening attentively and understands the social demands being expressed, and stands ready to respond positively and responsibly through dialogue and debate within institutions and public arenas, by finding realistic and implementable solutions that serve both the nation and its citizens». The communiqué stressed that «dialogue and discussion are the only means to address the challenges facing our country», while commending «the balanced response of security authorities, carried out in accordance with relevant legal procedures». It further acknowledged «the long-standing difficulties and structural challenges affecting the health system», noting that the calls for reform voiced by youth movements «align with the government's own priorities». Since taking office, the statement said, the government has launched a wide-ranging health sector reform initiative, though «its results cannot be assessed immediately given the scale of the simultaneous reforms now underway». The majority also welcomed initiatives that open debate on health reform, particularly the one put forward by parliamentary groups to hear a detailed presentation from the Minister of Health and Social Protection before parliamentary committees. Reaffirming its commitment to «completing the implementation of the government program based on strengthening the foundations of the social state», the statement added that the government will continue «to drive forward major reforms in health and education, while boosting public and private investment to create jobs». The meeting was chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, President of the National Rally of Independents, alongside Fatima Zahra Mansouri and Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, and Nizar Baraka, Secretary-General of the Istiqlal Party. Other participants included Rachid Talbi Alami, Mustafa Baitas, Mohamed Saad Barada, Amin Tahraoui, Younes Sekkouri, Azeddine El Midaoui, Abdeljabbar El Rachidi, Riad Mazour, and Naima Ben Yahya.
