National coach Walid Regragui commented on the protests taking place in several Moroccan cities since last Saturday, saying: «I don't think there's a single Moroccan in the world who doesn't want quality education and healthcare». Speaking at a press conference at the Mohammed VI Complex in Maâmora, where he announced the squad for the upcoming matches against Bahrain and Congo, Regragui stressed: «What we hope for is that everything happens with respect and without violence. We want to move forward, but with respect and without violence». When asked about players who voiced their opinions on the protests through social media, he responded: «The players have expressed their positions… Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. There isn't a Moroccan among us who doesn't want good education and healthcare. God willing, things will improve».
