Embarking on a bold new solo and self-sufficient adventure, ultra-marathoner Hamadi Wolf is on a mission to cover the 1,008 km stretch from Agadir to Dakhla. After successfully completing a 920 km trek on foot from Tangier to Agadir in 2024, his current ambition is to «run 50 kilometers per day to reach Dakhla by December 5», he revealed to Yabiladi. As of this Monday, he has reached Tiznit, steadfast in his journey. «If my physical condition holds up, it will be achievable!» he confidently assured our editorial team. Holding a degree in mechanical engineering, Hamadi Wolf left the corporate realm to fully immerse himself in his first passion. His inaugural solo ultra-marathon across Morocco last year seems to have only fueled his enthusiasm. Beyond being a mere athletic feat, this race, which will see the ultra-marathoner link the regions of the Sahara, embodies a life philosophy he champions, centered on self-transcendence. Diaspo #353: Hamadi Wolf, the ultra-marathoner driven by self-surpassing With only a backpack of supplies, no extra luggage, and without the support of a physical trainer or medical team, Hamadi Wolf has embarked on a project that, while distinct from last year's journey from Tangier, ultimately shares a common goal. This new route is also rich in symbolism, coinciding with the fiftieth anniversary of the Green March, celebrated on November 6, and Morocco's Independence Day on November 18. Ultimately, Hamadi aims to set an example and inspire others to embrace personal or collective challenges. For him, running is «an individual sport, defined by each person's performance», yet it is also a shared endeavor that enables participants to «achieve a common goal». In 2022, the runner embarked on a bicycle journey from Paris to Tetouan, passing through Spain. In 2023, he traversed France on foot, covering the distance from Paris to Marseille (787 km) in just twelve days. Article modified on : 17/11/2025 15h46
