Moroccan athlete Soukaina Hajji secured the bronze medal in the 800 meters on Wednesday in Riyadh, during the athletics events of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games, currently underway in the Saudi capital. Hajji delivered a strong performance, finishing with a time of 2:04.34 in the final at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium. She placed third behind Bahrain's Nelly Korir, who claimed the gold with a time of 2:02.59, and Uganda's Halima Nakaayi, who took the silver with 2:03.14. The Islamic Solidarity Games, running until November 21, feature 76 Moroccan athletes competing across 13 sports disciplines. These include athletics, boxing, duathlon, e-sports, futsal, para sports, jiu-jitsu, judo, karate, wrestling, muay-thai, swimming, and taekwondo.
