Ellis, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for African Affairs. The dialogue centered on the strategic partnership between Morocco and the United States, as detailed in the defense cooperation roadmap for 2020-2030, signed on October 2, 2020, in Rabat, according to a statement from the National Defense Administration. Loudyi commended the United States for its unequivocal and positive support of Morocco's sovereignty over its entire territory, as well as the constructive efforts made in this regard, the statement noted. The American official, in turn, underscored Morocco's role as a key stabilizing force in addressing regional security challenges and issues. He also praised the kingdom's commitment to reform strategies and its influence as a pivotal country for stability and peace in the region. While in Rabat, Bryan J. Ellis also engaged in extensive and in-depth discussions with General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR). The two officials explored topics of military cooperation and areas to be reviewed at the upcoming Defense Advisory Committee meeting, which is set to take place this year in Washington, D.C., according to a statement from the FAR General Staff.
