Shipping companies Africa Morocco Link (AML) and Balearia announced the cancellation of all scheduled sailings to Tangier from 3 p.m. onward. The information was relayed to passengers by the Port Authority of Algeciras Bay. In total, five crossings scheduled between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. were cancelled, extending the disruption on this route to a third consecutive day. The suspension also includes a Balearia sailing planned for Saturday at 9 a.m. By contrast, maritime services between the ports of Algeciras and Tangier Med are operating normally, with no cancellations reported so far, according to the same source.
