DR ‹ › Spanish National Police successfully deactivated, Monday, an explosive device discovered on Tarajal Beach in Ceuta, close to the Moroccan border. Fortunately, no injuries or material damage were reported. According to security sources, the device was identified as a corroded hand grenade, though its explosive charge remained intact. Specialists carried out a controlled detonation in a secure location near the sea to mitigate any potential threats. During the operation, a security perimeter was set up, resulting in the temporary closure of pedestrian and vehicle access around the Tarajal border area. The situation was swiftly brought back to normal once the operation was successfully completed.
