DR ‹ › Cold temperatures and strong winds accompanied by dust storms are expected on Monday and Tuesday in several provinces across Morocco, according to the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM). Minimum temperatures ranging between -2°C and 3°C are forecast on both days in the provinces of Figuig, Guercif, Jerada, Taourirt, Sefrou, Taza, Al Hoceïma, and Chefchaouen, the DGM said in an orange-level alert. Colder conditions, with temperatures dropping between -6°C and -3°C, are also expected over the same period in the provinces of Tinghir, Al Haouz, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Khenifra, Midelt, Ifrane, Boulemane, and Ouarzazate. In addition, strong winds accompanied by dust storms, with gusts reaching 70 to 80 km/h, are forecast from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Monday in the provinces of Figuig, Assa-Zag, Tata, Tan-Tan, Sidi Ifni, Tiznit, Es-Semara, and Guelmim, the DGM added.
