DR ‹ › Heavy rainfall, stormy showers with a risk of hail, and strong wind gusts are expected on Monday and Tuesday in several provinces across Morocco, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced. According to the DGM, heavy rain and stormy showers, with possible hail accumulations ranging between 40 and 60 mm, are forecast from Monday at 11:00 a.m. until Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. in the provinces of Tangier–Assilah, M'diq–Fnideq, Fahs–Anjra, Chefchaouen, Tétouan, Larache, and Ouezzane. These conditions are covered by an orange-level weather alert. Similar weather, with rainfall totals of 25 to 30 mm, is also expected on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in Kenitra, Taounate, Sidi Kacem, Taza, and Al Hoceima. In addition, strong wind gusts reaching 75 to 80 km/h are forecast on Monday between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the provinces of Taza, Guercif, Taourirt, Boulemane, Figuig, and Midelt.
