DR ‹ › The multidisciplinary medical caravan Securaid 26 is set to take place on April 10–12, 2026, south of Asilah. The initiative is led by the Mekkil' association, which focuses on supporting mothers and children in rural areas, in partnership with the Al Karam association. According to a statement, the caravan will «mobilize nearly 100 participants, including more than 60 doctors and healthcare professionals from various specialties, coming from several cities.» Around 2,000 patients are expected to benefit from care, including «consultations in general medicine, pediatrics, and ENT.» With the support of the Moroccan Society of ENT, specialists will join the medical teams to improve access to care. The statement also notes that «cardiologists will play a central role, equipped with electrocardiograms to enable rapid diagnosis of heart conditions.» Dentists will also take part, as oral health is considered «an essential pillar of overall health.» Preventive screenings for diabetes and cholesterol, as well as breast and cervical cancers, will be conducted as part of a «comprehensive health approach.» In parallel, medical teams will provide «specialized consultations, preventive actions, and educational workshops for children and mothers,» supported by a dedicated dental truck. Unilever is also backing the initiative by providing oral hygiene kits and supporting awareness campaigns. The organizers further highlight the support of the Ministry of Health, the Northern Territorial Health Group, and the Wilaya of Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma. The caravan aims to strengthen community health and medical prevention, with a particular focus on women and mothers.
