DR ‹ › Moroccan authorities, in coordination with Spanish maritime rescue services, have launched search operations for an inflatable boat carrying around 30 people. The vessel issued a distress call early Tuesday morning, more than 113 kilometers northwest of Tan-Tan, in southwestern Morocco. According to sources from the maritime rescue service cited by EFE, the «Sasemar 103» aircraft was deployed on Wednesday to support the search, as the Moroccan navy had not yet located the boat. The aircraft took off at around 9 a.m. from Las Palmas, as part of intensified efforts to find the missing vessel.
