The Moroccan National Motorway Company (ADM) informs users of the Rabat–Casablanca motorway that work to connect the new lanes to the recently widened overpass will begin at the Mohammedia West interchange on Monday, April 21, 2025. The operations are expected to last approximately one week. During this period, traffic at this interchange will be temporarily suspended for vehicles traveling from Casablanca or Mohammedia toward Rabat. However, traffic will remain open in the other two directions: from Mohammedia to Casablanca, and from Rabat to Mohammedia. To minimize disruptions, several alternative routes are recommended: * Users coming from Mohammedia and heading to Rabat can use the Mohammedia Center or Mohammedia East interchanges. * Travelers from Casablanca toward Mohammedia can take National Road 9 or National Road 1 via the Aïn Harrouda interchange, or use the Mohammedia Center or East interchanges. * Drivers on the Casablanca Bypass Motorway can also access Mohammedia through the Mohammedia Center or East interchanges. ADM will install temporary signage at key locations to help maintain smooth traffic flow. The company apologizes for any inconvenience and reminds users that this work is part of ongoing efforts to improve safety on the motorway network.
