Morocco has independently begun exploring the conditions and timelines for submitting a bid to host the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup in its new 32-team format, Spanish newspaper Marca reported. Spain was the first to announce its intention to bid, followed by Brazil, where the Brazilian Football Confederation officially expressed its desire to launch a hosting project for the tournament. Marca also pointed out that it's notable how Morocco and Spain, partners in organizing the 2030 FIFA World Cup, are each pursuing separate bids for the FIFA Club World Cup. Currently, a preliminary phase is underway in which countries can express their interest in hosting the event without submitting formal bids.
