On Monday, the Court of Appeal in Rabat sentenced a man in his thirties, accused of repeatedly raping a minor and attempting to kill him, to 30 years in prison, reports Al-Akhbar. Regarding the details of the incident, the accused, known for raising dogs, exploited the child's passion for dogs to lure him to his home, where he violently raped him six times under threat. When the child attempted to defend himself on the seventh occasion, the accused tortured and beat him, even attempting to slit his throat with a knife before fleeing, believing the child was dead. Miraculously, the child survived and received the necessary medical treatment. Intensive investigations led to the identification and arrest of the accused. The victim's statements, along with technical and genetic evidence, were crucial in uncovering the details of the repeated crimes and the murder attempt, which the accused later confirmed.
