Security forces at Casablanca's Mohammed V International Airport detained a Turkish national on Friday, who was wanted under an international arrest warrant issued by German judicial authorities, a security source revealed. The 43-year-old suspect was arrested immediately upon landing on a flight from Turkey, the same source confirmed. A check against the Interpol database showed that he was listed in a red notice by German authorities for his alleged involvement in a cocaine trafficking case. The suspect is now undergoing the necessary procedures for extradition and will be presented to the public prosecutor. German authorities have been informed of his arrest.
