Morocco has achieved a new seasonal record in raspberry exports. In the 2024/25 season (July–June), the country exported 64,400 tons of fresh raspberries, generating $487 million in revenue. This represents a 13.8% increase over the previous season and a 9% rise compared to the 2022/23 record, according to East Fruit. The raspberry export season spans nearly the whole year, with peak overseas sales from November through May. In April 2025 alone, shipments exceeded 10,000 tons, the highest monthly volume of the season. The United Kingdom continues to be the largest destination, absorbing more than 30% of exports. Since 2022/23, Morocco has held the top spot as the UK's leading raspberry supplier. Spain (23.4%) and the Netherlands (18.4%) follow, with Germany (13.6%) and France (7.9%) rounding out the top five. Together, these five markets represent 94.4% of total exports, with volumes rising across all of them in 2024/25. Beyond its core markets, Morocco expanded its raspberry export geography, shipping 3,500 tons to other destinations, a 60% jump year-on-year. Exports to Belgium grew 2.5 times, while shipments to Middle Eastern countries also increased. For the second year running, raspberries reached Austria and Switzerland, with trial batches sent to Romania and the Kingdom of Eswatini. In total, Moroccan raspberries were exported to 26 countries in 2024/25.
