The Moroccan Advertisers' Association (GAM) has announced the new lineup of its executive board following the general assembly that took place on October 6. Mehdi Yaroub has taken over the reins from Youssef Cheikhi as president. Yaroub, who also serves as the marketing director for the Renault brand, was unanimously elected, as stated in a press release issued this Monday. Samya El Kyas, the Marketing and Communication Director at Atlanta Sanad, has been appointed vice-president, sharing the role with Soufiane Al Khatiri, the Strategy & Growth Director at Centrale Danone. The executive board also includes Kenza Ouali, Marketing Director at Les Domaines Agricoles, serving as Secretary General; Younes Okba, Media and Partnerships Director at INWI, as General Treasurer; and Abdellatif Lhouaoui, Director of Communication and Cooperation at ANP, as Deputy Treasurer. Additionally, Fadoua Damiri, Deputy Marketing Director in charge of Communication & Media at Marjane Holding; Fatima Zahra El Jaï, Marketing Director at Aradei Capital; and Youssef El Fechtali, Director of Communication and Public Relations at Africop, are serving as assessors. The GAM highlights that the composition of this executive board mirrors the diverse market landscape, showcasing a variety of economic sectors and national companies. In recognition of their efforts in advancing marketing and communication across the country, former GAM presidents Mounir Jazouli and Youssef Cheikhi have been honored as honorary members of the association.
