On Monday, Seville, Spain, became the stage for an exhibition dedicated to Moroccan traditional crafts. This dynamic initiative seeks to bolster cultural and economic connections between Morocco and the Andalusian region, aligning with the goals outlined in the memorandum of understanding signed between Morocco's Ministry of Traditional Industry and Social and Solidarity Economy and the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation. This development was highlighted in a press release from the Government of Andalusia. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of André Azoulay, co-president of the Three Cultures Foundation, Patricia del Pozo, the Andalusian Minister of Culture and Sports, and Lahcen Saadi, Morocco's Secretary of State responsible for Traditional Industry and Social and Solidarity Economy. They were joined by numerous officials and key figures from the crafts sector on both sides. Running until Friday, November 21, the exhibition aims to deepen cultural cooperation, highlight the skills of Moroccan artisans, and further cement the relationship between Andalusia and Morocco. The exhibition showcases a thoughtfully curated array of pieces that celebrate Morocco's cultural and regional diversity, featuring haute couture, carpets, wood engraving, woven furnishings, decorative handicrafts, traditional clothing, and contemporary design.
