A 66-year-old Italian man died on Wednesday, November 19, during a solidarity trek in Morocco after suffering a fatal fall in the mountains. Alberto Silvestro, who lived in Fossano in northern Italy, was participating in a humanitarian trekking initiative organized by Cinema Inclusione Partecipazione (CIP), an Italian association that promotes social inclusion through cultural and community projects, when the accident occurred in a snowy area, causing a severe head injury. Silvestro, a recently retired representative of professional hairdressing products, was well known for his deep love of mountain environments, local media reported on Friday. He was accompanied by his son, who witnessed the tragedy.
