Prior to his arrival in Algiers, Boulos made stops in Tripoli and Benghazi, followed by Tunisia, as part of a regional tour focusing on discussions about stabilizing Libya. This visit to Algeria comes shortly after a Polisario delegation returned from Washington without securing any tangible outcomes. It's worth noting that Boulos previously visited Algiers in July, where he engaged in discussions with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
