Acting on the directives of the king, Morocco's Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, took part in the 7th African Union-European Union Summit. The event kicked off on Monday in Luanda, Angola, under the theme «Promoting Peace and Prosperity through Effective Multilateralism». This two-day summit, running from Nov. 24-25, aims to reinforce a strong and forward-thinking partnership. Discussions are structured around two main sessions, one of which is dedicated to the topics of citizens, migration, and mobility. King Mohammed VI was appointed as the African Union's Champion on Migration Issues during the 30th AU Summit in January 2018. The Luanda Summit builds upon the 6th AU-EU Summit held on February 17-18, 2022, in Brussels. Throughout the years, both parties have consistently emphasized their commitment to strengthening the ties between the two continents. This effort is guided by shared values, mutual interests, and a unified vision aimed at achieving sustainable growth and prosperity.
