The Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, attended the second International Judicial Conference in Riyadh from Nov. 23-24, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Justice. A statement from the Ministry of Justice on Monday highlighted that participation in this international gathering reflects the commitment of the attending countries to develop strategic visions and best practices to ensure the quality of judicial and legal services and procedures. Adhering to these standards and indicators aims to ensure the quality of justice in service to the citizen. During the conference, participants engaged in various sessions and workshops. The activities focused particularly on mechanisms to integrate quality justice like operational processes, alternative dispute resolution methods, judicial mediation mechanisms and international judicial cooperation. The conference also addressed the role of the legal profession, digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence in justice. This gathering was an opportunity to renew meetings with several Ministers of Justice and to explore ways to strengthen cooperation.
