The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has kicked off the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 Diaspora Tour, a global initiative designed to rally African communities ahead of the tournament Morocco will host in the coming weeks. The tour, which celebrates the spirit and heritage of African football, will make its first stop in London on 28 November at Below the Lights, Piccadilly Circus, and will continue in Paris on 4 December at YOYO in the Palais de Tokyo, CAF announced on Wednesday. Its goal is to strengthen the bond between the continent and its diaspora as Morocco prepares to stage AFCON 2025. Featuring the official AFCON trophy, the events pay tribute to the shared identity uniting African fans worldwide, honouring iconic players who rose to prominence in Europe while reaffirming the enduring connection they maintain with the continent. CAF describes the trophy's journey to European capitals as a symbol that the competition's ultimate prize belongs to Africans everywhere, from Casablanca to Paris, Lagos to London. The tour marks the first major international activation ahead of AFCON Morocco 2025, blending heritage and legacy as the road to the tournament begins.
