The Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) is currently on an official visit to France. In Paris, the head of the French military, General Fabien Mandon, who took office on September 1, decorated General Mohammed Berrid with the insignia of Commander of the Legion of Honor. This distinction reflects «the cooperation between our armies, which continues to grow across multiple areas, including the training of our officers», General Mandon said on social media. «It underscores a historic and substantial partnership that takes on an exceptional dimension thanks to mutual trust. Our forces are building, in all domains, a balanced and mutually beneficial relationship that strengthens our security», he added. It is worth recalling that the Inspector General of the FAR had already traveled to Paris on September 5 to pay tribute to former French Chief of Defense General Thierry Burkhard. On the sidelines of that ceremony, Mohammed Berrid also held talks with General Mandon.
