DR ‹ › On December 11, the Spanish National Police in Cádiz thwarted an attempt by a woman to leave for Tangier with her three minor children. It was discovered that the children were under international protection notices issued by French authorities, as the mother did not have legal custody. According to information from the French authorities, the mother, aware of the judicial proceedings against her, is suspected of trying to evade European justice by leaving the jurisdiction with her children. The children had previously been placed under the guardianship of French social services after being removed from their mother's care due to allegations of abuse. Following the police intervention, the children were separated from their mother and placed under the care of social services for their protection. This action was taken with the oversight and approval of the Juvenile Protection Prosecutor's Office, which is continuing the necessary procedures to determine their final status.
