DR ‹ › Two people were killed and four others injured to varying degrees following the partial collapse of a building on Monday in the Akkari neighborhood of Rabat, according to local authorities in the Rabat Prefecture. The building, which consisted of a ground floor used for commercial purposes and two residential floors occupied by a single family, partially gave way, the same source said. Upon being alerted, local and security authorities, along with civil protection services, immediately rushed to the scene to carry out search and rescue operations and to implement all necessary safety measures, including securing the area surrounding the partially collapsed building and nearby structures. The injured were quickly transported to hospital to undergo medical examinations and receive appropriate treatment. An investigation has been opened by the competent authorities, under the supervision of the public prosecutor, to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
