From April 28 to May 1, 2025, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is taking part in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, one of the Middle East's most influential tourism events. For this 32nd edition, Morocco is highlighting the Casablanca-Settat region, with a strong presence of 26 co-exhibitors from across the country, said ONMT in a press release. The Moroccan delegation, led by ONMT Director General Achraf Fayda and National Tourism Confederation (CNT) president Hamid Bentahar, aims to further cement Morocco's place among the world's top travel destinations. With over 2,800 exhibitors, 55,000 visitors and participants from more than 160 countries, the ATM offers a key platform for the ONMT to showcase Morocco's full tourism offering—from cultural heritage and ecotourism to business travel and luxury experiences. A strategic priority for the ONMT this year is strengthening Morocco's presence in the Saudi market. Saudi Arabia became the top source of tourists from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in 2024, with arrivals up 13% from the previous year. To build on that momentum, the ONMT is partnering with major Saudi travel operators such as Almosafer, Fursan, and Flyin.com. The office is also working with global travel platforms like Wego and Cleartrip to grow its reach in India and Southeast Asia, targeting premium travelers and boosting Morocco's visibility in the expanding GCC market. A highlight on the sidelines of the fair was the signing of a strategic partnership between the ONMT and Emirates Airlines. The deal aims to strengthen air connectivity between Morocco and key Asian markets—including Japan, South Korea, India, and Australia—viaDubai's role as a major global hub and leveraging Emirates' vast network.
