The fourth edition of the Tamuda Bay Eco Triathlon (TBET) will take place on May 24–25, 2025, in M'diq, with routes spanning Martil, Fnideq, and Tamuda Bay. Gaining momentum each year, the event is set to welcome nearly 1,000 participants from six continents, including 800 triathletes competing across various distances and 200 participants in races dedicated to children and women. Designed as a positive-impact event, TBET emphasizes inclusivity: a special race is planned for women from the region, with female participation expected to reach a record 35%. Athletes with disabilities will also be at the starting line. For younger participants, a «Kids Race» will kick off the weekend. On the logistics side, organizers have prioritized sustainability, offering group transport for bicycles, recycling stations, bottle collection, and environmental awareness initiatives. The aim: to establish TBET as a model of eco-responsible sporting events. With more than 3,000 overnight stays expected, the triathlon also promises to provide a major boost to local tourism. The exhibition village, opening on May 23, will feature entertainment, games, and interactive booths for visitors throughout the weekend. By combining sport, inclusion, and sustainability, TBET 2025 aims to place northern Morocco firmly on the global triathlon map.
